"The Return Of Lady Coltessa Raynes LeStat"

"The Return Of Lady Coltessa Raynes LeStat"

Selene could feel something in the air. Something kind and beautiful, unlike the Kingdom usually was. She had been feeling a sense of longing lately. This was different than her usual search for her missing daughter Amilee. Although she missed her youngest daughter with her entire heart, this was something different. Her feelings were not dark. They were feelings of pure joy. Selene couldn't put her finger on it. This feeling was not of dread. It was of solace.

Years ago she had a friend that she missed very deeply. Her name was Lady Coltessa Raynes LeStat. She had given Selene a title of nobility. Conseiller A La Reine, Informant To The Queen. Selene never got rid of the title although Coltessa had disappeared. She hoped with her heart, that she would see Lady Coltessa again. Selene knew that wouldn't ever happen though. Lady Coltessa and Lord David LeStat were presumed as dead. Their passing was detrimental to Selene. She knew she had a duty to fulfill.

The young Crown Prince Gage LeStat was all alone after their passing, Gage's birth mother Ayumi, had destroyed the kingdom out of her hatred for David, Then she disappeared. Ayumi left her two sons behind. The Black Kingdom lay in ruins. Selene took the young princes Gage and Vincent under her wing. She helped the boys rebuild the deserted and dilapidated Kingdom, back to it's former glory. Crown Prince Vincent, one day had just up and disappeared. This was a deep Another deep loss for Crown Prince Gage. Gage had approached Selene one night, then asked her why did everyone he love disappear. Selene had no answers to his question.

After years of Selene's influence and her love for the young prince, she appointed him as Black King Gage LeStat, Her love for David and Coltessa was deep. Selene knew this was what they would have wanted for their son. Selene had deep respect for David and Coltessa, This had to be done. King Gage didn't take his newly appointed title well. Gage was dark and deeply angered by everyone's disappearances. Selene wondered if Gage was an awful choice for such a duty. Selene knew Gage would come around someday. Gage was dealing with feeling forsaken by all of the ones he loved.

Out of the blue, Gage's dark heart became softer towards the peasants. He was no longer known as "The Bastard King Of The Black Kingdom" Gage was lost but he changed. He stepped into hie Royal title, as the King of the lands. Gage would be someone that David and Coltessa would be proud of. Selene knew this was her duty to raise their son the right way. Selene did this for her very best of friends Lady Coltessa, also her due to her deep motherly love for Gage. Selene was proud of the man that Gage turned out to be, She loved him very much. Gage was like a son to her, she raised him like one of her own children. Selene was proud of Gage.

Selene had noticed a cottage being build near Gage's Castle. Selene did not know why. Perhaps, Gage was erecting a home for one of his many children. Selene was delighted to see a home being built so close to the castle. It had to be that Selene thought, Perhaps it was being built for Mia, Gage's youngest daughter. Black Princess Mia and Gage had an inseparable relationship. Mia was newly betrothed. Selene was almost positive that was the reason for the home being built. Mia had grown into such a beautiful and loving woman.

Selene watched daily the home being built. She had a thought deep in her mind that this place was not for Mia. Had Ayumi returned? Selene had deep respect for Dark Lady Ayumi. But she was torn. How could a Mother destroy her children's home than disappear? This was unmotherly like. Selene was angered with Gage's birth Mother for doing what she had done to her children. She knew Gage would accept Ayumi although she had forsaken him like the others.

This home was different, elegant and very royal looking. Gage had the best of carpenters in the lands erect the home. But for whom, Selene pondered. Had David and Lady Coltessa returned? Although Gage's heart was scorned towards his father. He had a deep love for his stepmother Coltessa, that never faltered. Selene watched every day, hoping her dear friend had returned to her. Selene had missed her very much, They had a relationship that was deep and very strong. Selene started to feel her. She began to feel a comfort and an unmistakable closeness once again. Feelings of love she hadn't felt in years. Had lady Coltessa returned to The Black Kingdom? Was she going to see her best friend once again?

The Unforgettable Fire, Revenge Is A Dish Best Served Cold

The Unforgettable Fire, Revenge Is A Dish Best Served Cold

Many years ago,  The ultimate betrayal occurred against myself and my family.  One winter's night in December a tremendous winter storm was raging over The Black Kingdom.  Visibility was near zero making is difficult to see anything that was happening out in the elements.  My estate caught fire, the blaze was out of control in a flash.  I began searching for my children whom were all engaged in a game of hide and seek.  They were scattered throughout my large home.  Making finding them all extremely difficult.  My cousin Gage had allowed his daughter Alessa LeStat spend the night, due to a birthday party being held for my son Lyric.

I frantically searched for the children, none of them could be found.  They had just up and disappeared.  I could not find a single one of them.  I did not know where they had gone.  I knew they would have never went outside alone.  Not in the weather that was occurring, I knew deep in my heart that something indeed was very wrong.  A mother knows these things. Where were my kids?  Where did they all go and why?  They had disappeared without a trace.  I could not find Gage's daughter neither.  She was nowhere to be found.  I became extremely distressed then I called Gage.  He had the right to know Alessa was missing.

The inferno raged out of control forcing me to flee from my home.  The children were not outside.  They were simply gone.  Gage arrived at my estate quickly.  We could barely see the house that was now completely engulfed in flames.  The blizzard made it impossible to see anything at all.  We could hear a horrible sound of a child screaming.  Gage and I had no way to enter my home at this point.  The fire was completely out of control.  Was the screaming of the lambs caused by one of my children or was it Gage's daughter.  There was no way for either one of us to know.  We watched helplessly trying so desperately to figure it all out.  There was literally no way to enter my home.

The screaming was ear shattering Gage and I both knew one of our kids was in that house, that the child was dying.  Gage tried to enter the home due to the screaming.  The rafters came down in front of him.  There was literally nothing he could do it was too late.  The child was dead. The screaming had now stopped, all we could hear now, was the howling of the ferocious wind from the storm.  We would not know which one of our children had passed until the blaze was extinguished.  It was agonizing for the both of us.  We stood there helplessly holding on to one another, Gage and I.  It was the most horrible feeling in the world not knowing whether your child had died or survived.

The question then resurfaced in my mind,  Where were the others?  Where had my children at?  Why  did my home catch fire.  Someone was responsible, I could feel it in my heart.  A mother knows things, I knew they were not inside the home when it collapsed.  Why had my home caught fire?  Who was responsible?  Where were my kids?  I could feel them inside of my being, however I could not tell where they had gone, or why they were gone.  I had never felt anything in my existence more heartbreaking than I felt upon this horrible night in the unforgettable fire.

Once my home was completely gone, the remains of Gage's daughter Alessa were found. The eldest of Gage's daughters had perished in the fire.  He and I both were dumbfounded who could have done this and why?  We were informed by the authorities the house caught fire due to arson.  Who would do such a thing to me?  As far as I knew I had no enemies of any kind.  Why Gage and I?  We had done nothing to anyone to warrant this kind of assault.  All I knew was my children were gone.  All of them, taken by a thief in the night.  How would we find out who had done such a horrible thing?  There was just no way to know, no way at all.
