That unforgettable night ( Denali storyline )

Haven was always on the defense line. After the fire she and a few other of her siblings had been taken by sacred order. She knew that they were still around to this very day. That was how she met Malek. He had saved her. Was it a sacrifice. Or death. She never wanted to know. Haven knew her siblings were still with the order. " My mother. " She looked to Malek. " Is she alright?"

Awaiting for his answer. The trama that she faced while prisoned with Kain. Her visions have been getting stronger. Feeling Kains presence. " come on Malek. He knows I've escaped and will be looking for me." She began to panic a bit. She felt that if she had gone and told her mother what had happened. The nightmare would stop. Her power in magic were stronger then kain himself. She was too afraid to use them against him.

Saying a small chant. Removing hers and Malek's scent. That part was easy to do for her. She had learned that the little time Haven had been with sacred order. " i...I have to tell Selene and gage. What happened to Alessa. It was all over the kingdom they had. "  Hayden suddenly tripped. Looking back. She could see the soldiers chasing after them. " MALEK. RUN RUN PLEASE. " Haven cried out.

She brushed herself off. And turn to run with him. Something quickly grabbed her arm. " Noooo Nooo let go of me. MALEK. " She reached for him. But she could feel them taking her back to Kain. " No no " She began to sob. She hated it there. Haven wanted her family

That unforgettable night: Flames leave scars ( Denali storyline )

Background:

Being the youngest of the Denali sisters meant that Danya was around the same age as some of her nieces and nephews. The memory of her parents seemed to fade in and out. She could remember the smell of her father’s cologne and remember how her mother’s voice sounded when she sang her to sleep. Other than that, there were fading memories of them. Danya rarely spoke about the Denali parents because in many ways the older sisters took that place. The main sister that took the place of their parents was Selene. Selene was always like her mother anyways. Though she was very young, Danya had children of her own as well. She had kept their father’s identity hidden from everyone including them. It was not that she did not want them to have their father’s side of things, but she wanted in her own way keep them safe.

Because of being close to her family, it was a no brainer when Selene said she was going to have a sleep over. So, after gathering up all her children, she headed towards Selene’s estate. Once there, she allowed each of them to go play with their cousins and started to enjoy her family time herself. Danya enjoyed being with her family and the sleepovers of the Denali family were known to be legendary. Danya felt there was no need in the world to worry, for she knew that she was protected like all there. She had her family, and that time was all that she needed in the world.

The night was long but filled with joy, fun, and togetherness. However, all things must come to an end and as Danya helped each of her children get into their own sleeping bags before getting into her own. In her mind, if she slept nearby then if she was needed, she can get there quickly. As she was starting to settle down; the dark-haired and blue-eyed beauty looked around and noticed something or someone. Amayah Lestat seemed to look uncomfortable. She couldn’t put her finger on it but decided to shake it off as she laid her head down upon her fluffed up pillow. She pulled over her eyes the eye mask over her eyes to keep everything dark so she could sleep. It felt like she was slowly falling asleep when something burning came into her noise. At first, she thought it was something within her own mind that was playing tricks on her.

The Fire: Everything goes up in flames

The smell became too much, and the sound of screams filled her ears. Danya knew that she was not dreaming at all, and she needed to move. She could hear her name being called in the distance by some ladies in waiting and other servants. “Lady Danya move!” they screamed with one running over to her and ripping the eye mask off her face. A gasp escaped her lips as she looked around and saw everyone running around. “WHERE ARE MY CHILDREN?” she asked standing up still inside her sleeping bag. She looked around still in a daze and panic began to fill her. “No time for that run!” The lady in waiting said grabbing her arm. Danya did not want to budge, wanting to find the others, especially the littles. She wanted her children, but she couldn’t see them. She broke free from the lady in waiting’s grip and rush to where she had tucked her little ones in bed. She pulled opened each of the sleeping bags as if perhaps they had just shrunk and were down at the bottom of the sleeping bags. “WHERE ARE MY BABIES!!” She screamed feeling another pull of her arm. She began to panic more, and tears filled her eyes as smoke began to fill her lungs.

Danya felt as if her body was moving on its own as she was following several of the ladies in waiting that was around her age. “This way.” They said slipping through the halls like shadows. Danya had no choice but to move. She for a moment thought maybe she should just stay in place, however, the lady in waiting looked at her for a moment. Her gaze was filled with mother’s pain of knowing. “My lady, we need to move. We will find the children when we get out of here. If we do not move we will be burned alive and then your babies will have no one.” Through her eyes, Danya could see that so many were running around. Flames were surrounding everything destroying everything they touched. How did she sense this, or smell this, or connect anything until being woken up. “Quickly.” She heard one of the ladies in waiting tell her.

Danya knew not what to do but to follow. She wanted to find her family and help; however, she knew nothing of how she could help. She became as if she was in flight mode instead of fight mode. Danya wanted to scream as tears ran down her face, seeing everything being destroyed and everyone running in fear. “Who did this?” she asked one lady in waiting grabbing her arm as another pulled up a secret entry way that was used by the staff and some of the family to get through the large estate without being seen. There were some secret passageways that only the family knew just in case of emergencies. “We do not know but we need to leave. Everything is chaos.” The lady said, pulling her into the passageway.

The Blue eyed beauty looked around panicking more and more as time went on. She could see no children. Which they could, however, just before she was going to go in fully something caught her eye. “What is Amayah Lestat doing?” she asked herself as she saw Amayah looking at a window that had yet to be engulfed in flames which probably meant she was using abilities to keep the flames back. This thought came to her since flames were around that area. “We do not know but we need to leave. She will leave in time.” They said as if they knew something. Danya sighed yet nodded finally walking through the passageway. The young women walked through the twisting and turning passageway smelling the smoke that was quickly bringing down the estate. “Where does this one lead?” she asked with a thick European accent.

Deep in the Forest:

Years had gone by, and she still had no clue where her children were. It was as if they vanished, but she knew that wasn’t possible. Furthermore, she did not know how she got out of the estate. She remembered the lady in waiting, but remembered at one point the lady left her in the tunnel. She remembered that the flames surrounded her, and smoke filled her lungs. She could briefly picture or remember; she had fallen to the floor and someone picking her up. She knew it was a male, but not who. Her trauma and guilt of living where others may have not caused Danya to flee from her family. She became untamed and a lone wolf. She did not long for a pack or long for the surroundings of others. The forest gave her comfort where society no longer gave her a sense of security. Trust was hard to build up now for her around others since she trusted someone, and they broke it. No, it was not just her but the family as a whole and that trust broke completely as if it was glass shattering.

The beauty built her own cabin in the middle of the forest, planted the garden, and everything else that was needed to create her own little oasis. This provided her with a safe place where she could live without worrying about others. However, this did not stop the urge to hunt or simply cause a little bit of chaos. Now, though she lived deep within a forest that was named, “The Cursed Woods” or “ The Forgotten Woods”; Danya was not far from a village. She made sure to know all the routes to the village for when she had a need that only one village could provide. But it was mostly for the fact that she wanted to cause trouble for the village. In her mind it was keeping her trained and keeping them on their toes so that others would never trust or get hurt as she had “The garden it should be far enough away and if needed we can go deeper into it.” One said opening another door that lead to another part of another passageway. The estate seemed so large while going through them until the smell of dirt filled her nose. She knew that they were close to the garden, which was a good thing considering that a strong heating feeling began to come up to her back. She turned her head for a moment to look and see flames coming behind them. “RUN! The flames made it into this passageway. Run” They all began to pick up speed until making it to the door that lead out to the garden. The head lady in waiting quickly opened the door and everyone ran out closing it quickly behind them. “Hopefully the lack of oxygen within there will stop them.” One with light blonde hair stated.

She lived alone and full of guilt feeling like she failed each of her babies. She shouldn’t have looked more. She should have stay within the flames and rumble of the estate. But she was not the only one who loss children, Selene’s were also scattered to the wind. Each time she hit the piece of wood; Danya could feel tears fill her eyes. “My babies, my babies, my babies.” She said over and over again as if she was saying a spell. “Where are my babies?” Her voice cracked as the thud of the ax broke into the wood.

She left the ax there for a moment looking around as if she heard someone. It was a voice familiar to her and yet unfamiliar all the same. Danya looked around for a moment seeing if perhaps she could find where the voice came from, but no other words were spoken. It was in that moment; she knew she would have to leave her cottage and forest sooner or later to find her children. But couldn’t she have the strength to even remember the night fully and could she face what happened to find them? She looked towards the sky and took a deep breath, “my children, where are you? Your mother misses you. Your mother failed you that night. Please my children be safe.”
