Becoming a guard to a witch/princess: Storyline with Isis
Category: Uncategorized

Disclaimer: Dracula and Morgana Lefay in this post has been within Giulia’s storyline since making her. This is not to include anyone who plays either of the two or to cause any issues. Think of them as just NPCs.

The Summing: Starter

Some background

One would think that being the daughter of Dracula would make one have a happy life. But that is far from the truth when the other half of the family loathes you because you are half creature of the night. This was something that Giulia had to face everyday of her life and learn how to grow into a woman. The difference between her and those who were turned is that she could grow up and not just stay the same age. Her temper and thirst were also able to be under her control. Many would call her a princess of the vampire and fae realms, but others such as Morgana Lefay would call her a bastard. She was used to this term being associated with her by her own grandmother, but one can only take so much.

Giulia thought everything would remain the same until her father came back from fighting the Ottoman Turks. The war had not finished, yet he was still home safe. That was something Giulia needed to see, but something felt off. He seemed uneasy and weak even which was not like him. “Giulia come” he said to her in a calm fatherly tone of voice. Though Giulia was not in the throne room where he was located, she could still him through their family bond. She did as she was told, appearing before him, and bowing. “My daughter, I need your help to win this war against the Turks. It is not something my undead blood can finish on its own. But through the fae blood that flows through your veins it shall give me greater powers” Dracula spoke coming closer to her.

Giulia wanted to help her father but did not know what he was going to do. Fae blood was often craved by vampires to be used to gain powers or cleanse their souls. Many enjoyed fae blood for the simple fact it had a different taste. This even went to those born of both vampire and fae. It was a curse and blessing to have both lines flowing through one’s veins. Giulia should have known this, but the young woman trusted her father. “This will hurt, but I must do it.” He said grabbing her hair and digging his fangs into her neck. “Father stop. It hurts.” She said feeling her blood flow from the puncture wounds and into his mouth.  Through his mind as she struggled under his grip Dracula only said through his mind and into hers, “You shall be still fae but also fully vampire. I’m sorry my child you shall be something no one will ever want alive, but I must do this.” His grip became tighter and tighter as he drained her body of her blood. One can never fully take another’s species from them, but what she would be was only told of in stories.

Giulia began to feel weak and felt her body become limp in his grip. Dracula who had drained many knew what to do next, yet he had to act fast before his own daughter died. Dracula took his free left hand and dug his fangs into it. With a smooth motion, Dracula put his palm over Giulia’s mouth allowing his blood to drip into it. When enough had dripped in her mouth, Giulia’s eyes opened, and she grabbed her father’s wrist to feed for the first time as a full vampire. She felt her inside burn and pushed him away. “What did you do?” she screamed!

Present day: Safe zone under Tenebris Protection, but with a price

It had been centuries since the Broken Doll last laid eyes upon her father or her grandmother. She knew both were still alive, but both knew the laws of certain lands. The lands under the protection of the three founding families of the Ut in Veteribus would be a foolish travel to go into just to go get her. The lands being Rome and Turkey for the Tenebris family, the oldest of the families. The Novikov had the Russian lands, and finally Anhalt of Germany. Lefay was power driven like Dracula, but both knew that would find some unpleasant punishment placed upon them if they traveled into the lands under the protection of the founding families.

That being said, Giulia knew that being under the protection of three families that stuck or clung to the old ways of not mixing the blood of the species would never come without a price. Giulia, herself was a halfbred woman with both Fae and vampire blood mixing through out her veins perfectly. She was both sweet tasting and yet blood thirsty. Though they protected her from just two beings, Giulia knew she could be used at anytime for the good of their families. Such a time came quicker than she could ever have thought.

A summons from Antigone Tenebris {Aurelius Antoninus} to come to the private throne room where the coven leaders typically had their meetings. This summons was not something that Giulia could ignore even if she wanted to, though it was not said within the summons that anyone would happen to her if she had not acknowledged nor went to the throne room. The Shattered Doll was no fool to say the least and so she went as quickly as she could. Once she got to the large and old estate, she was led to the throne room under heavy guard.

Giulia knew this was only protocol due to the fact of what she was, furthermore, she knew that Antigone did not fully trust her because of what flowed through her blood. “Wait here” the breaded guard said looking at Giulia with an untrustworthy look upon his face. Giulia simply bowed her head not knowing why she was summoned. Did she do anything wrong? Or would she be thrown out of their protection? Giulia stood there and waited until she heard, “Sultana, Antigone yol açın” (Sultana, Antigone, make way). Giulia bowed her head and kept her eyes low showing respect understanding Turkish due to having to learn it, Russian, and German as well.

“Yükselebilirsin” (You may rise), Antigone stated waving her right hand in her direction. Giulia rose but kept her eyes low, “Seni çağırdım çünkü bir şeye çok uygun olduğunu biliyorum.” ( I have summoned you, for I know you are a perfect fit for something.)  Giulia looked up at her only once, “Böyle düşünüldüğüm için onur duyuyorum. Gerçi ben bir melezden başka bir şey değilim.” (I am honored to be thought of such. Though I am nothing more than a half-breed.) Giulia replied to Antigone.

Antigone gave a simple smile then turned to the eunuch, Sümbül Ağa, “Lütfen git kızım Isis'i al” (Please go get, my daughter Isis.) Sümbül Ağa, bowed his head and walked out of the throne to go get the Princess Isis. Turning her attention back to Giulia, who was still having her eyes lowered. (My daughter needs a guard particularly when she uses her ability, and her body is not under her control. Isis can tell you more, but I do believe you are the best for it. Providing she is alright with it.) Giulia looked up for a moment and nodded her head respectfully understanding that it was up to Sultana Isis. Giulia feeling Antigone’s crimson red eyes burn into her, lowered them once more.

Becoming a guard to a witch/princess: New Beginnings {storyline with
Isis Tenebris {Aurelius Antoninus})

Blog Location:https://www.realmroleplay.com/view_blog.php?id=0000000885

Disclaimer: This post will switch between two different POVs. If there is any confusion, Apologizes a head of time.

Antigone’s POV:

Being a mother was everything to Antigone and she would do anything to protect her daughter. Isis was her cub after all, and she took that to heart every day. Isis was the last of her children that had survived over the centuries, so of course she would always protect her. In all the jewels in the world, Isis was her most precious one. The Dark Ancestral gave a smile after hugging her daughter tightly. Antigone watched after her daughter’s eyes shifted to the half-breed and began to study her. This was most interesting to Antigone for the Dark Ancestral Witch wanted to see how the two would interact.

Not in a million years did The Dark Ancestral Witch thought that she would have allowed a half-breed particularly one that is half vampire to have anything to do with her daughter. However, the daughter of Vlad Dracula and the granddaughter of Morgan Lefay was far too tempting to see what power she held. Furthermore, the blond half-breed had no choice for she needed protection. The Empresses of the Imperial Dynasties knew exactly what they were doing by having her sent to Ut in Veteribus for protection. It killed two birds with one stone. Isis needed a guard and friendship while Giulia needed protection and to have some who cared for her.

Giulia’s POV:

Seeing the two witches eye her up made, The Shattered Doll have chills up and down her spin. She did not know why, but there was no other choice than to do what she was told otherwise to be sent back to the Imperial Dynasties would not be that great. She looked down for a moment when Isis was looking at her then looked back up. Sure, she was the daughter of Vlad Dracula, but he had nothing on Empress Sinjin and Empress Sinui. The very names sent chills and shutters up and down her spin. It would not be wise for her to go against their wishes, and she understood it also put Sultana Antigone into a bind.

In all her wildest dreams, The Shattered Doll never thought she would be the guard of anyone. Nor did she ever think that she would have a safe place or protection. It was not perfect, but it was something that she would make sure all goes well. After getting the courage the blonde half-breed looked directly at Isis giving a slight smile. She tilted her head to the left thinking that Isis could be a friend or someone to have fun with, after all Giulia was not one to follow the rules. Her very birth was against nature after all; thus, she was born to break the rules.

Giulia listened to Isis speak and raised a slight brow but gave a nod in return. “It’s not better being within the two families.” She replied calmly. “Both want to use you for your blood to gain powers.” She shrugged a bit. “So, loving, I suppose I should be proud of it.” She shrugged once more feeling slight pull into her throat. It was not like the burning sensation that comes into her throat when she needed to feed. No, this feeling only happened when she thought about her family or even talked about them. It was not that she did not love either side of her family but after all she loved her grandfather Vlad II of Wallachia. He tried her like a family member and taught her what it meant to be a part of a family. After his death, Giulia was not the same again and all she knew was fear and to be used.

She listened to her once more then gave another smile when Isis reached out her hand. She shook it gently but firmly. “Pleasure to meet you. Thank you for the warm welcome and yes, I would like not to have to go back to the Imperial Dynasties. Who knows what I may have to do.” She said shuttering at the
thought.

Antigone’s pov:

Antigone watched as everything unfolded and found it amusing in the slightest. She mused over how the two were interacting together and wanted to let out a slight laugh. It would be good perhaps for the two young ones. When she heard her daughter ask her the question and turned her attention towards her. “ She knows some of it. I figured that you would be able to tell her more and it would give you two time to get to know each other. After all she would be guarding you and it would be best to know everything coming from you. I gave her the basics, and she is a pretty smart cookie.” She said with a slight smirk looking between Isis and Giulia.

Giulia’s pov:

The Shattered Doll watched the interaction between the mother and daughter without saying a word. When Isis spoke once more to her, Giulia’s attention was fully on her. “Tis my honor, Sultana to be able to guard you and have this position.” She replied bowing slightly towards her showing her respect then standing up straight Giulia nodded. “I will be honored to be able to call you that when it’s just to the two of us.” She said with a slight wicked grin upon her face. Giulia looked back towards Sultana Antigone and could see the look of slight amusement on her face. The half-breed did not know how to take such a look. Giulia looked back towards Isis as she spoke more and had to smile a bit. “Thank you. I never really had a home of my own.” She said with a slight smile and feeling as if she was going to tear up a bit.

She shook off the feeling of allowing any tears to fall for she did not want to appear weak in front of the two witches. There was still much about the Tenebris family that Giulia had yet to truly know or come to understand. It would be fun to dig up everything about them and learn about them. “Jealousy may take some getting used to, however, I promise Sultana shall ignore such. If they get too bad can always make them disappear.” She replied smirking then saw the look Antigone was giving in her direction. “With in reason of course.” She said she was trying to cover herself. She listened to Isis speak and hearing how Antigone was protective over her caused Giulia’s heart to feel a slight dagger feeling. She had never known her mother for she died shortly after giving birth to Giulia. But she knew that her mother loved her. It was just good to see an actual mother and daughter relationship. “You are very lucky to have a mother protective over you, Sultana. One can see how proud she is of you too.” She replied with a kind smile on her face.

Giulia tugged her hair behind her ears and allowed her crimson red eyes to flash in the direction of Isis for a moment. She gave a slight nod. “I do wish to do this, and it will be truly an honor.”she stated in a matter in fact tone of voice. “I am very thankful to Sultana Antigone.” She said looking towards Antigone for a moment with a smile then turned her attention back towards Isis. “Just one thing, are you going to be alright with a Half-breed that has a bounty on her head from both sides of her family?” she asked holding up one hand slightly above her head then put it down towards her heart. “My life now shall be guarding you and being there when you need me not just as a guard but as a possible friend. An ear as sorts.” She replied gently.

“I am one that tends to not follow the rules, however, here I shall. I want to do my best to do what I need to do to make sure you are safe and happy.” She stated then looked between the two witches. In truth, it would be vastly different for her, but Giulia tended to be loyal to those who showed her kindness or those she cared for within her life. “If you are alright with stepping out of the norm from time to time, I think we can have some fun.” She said with her thick Romanian accent and smirk upon her face. She looked in Antigone’s direction to see her face. The look upon the Dark Ancestral Witches’ face was a slight smirk and amused look that was different from before. The half-breed then turned her attention towards Isis. “How about it? Here for you through the hard times and light times. Heck, you can even use me for target practice, for I am not easily one to shatter.”

*THE FUTURE AWAITS*

Isis hugged her momma back and listened closely to what she was saying, she made sure no emotion or reaction showed on her face as her eyes shifted to the girl that her momma was speaking too. Studying Giulia after her momma confirmed what she was, she couldn’t help the shutter that came over her when the Imperial Dynasties were mentioned. She wasn’t scared of them but she knew how the Empresses were and she knew that no matter what she thought about this whole proposition her mother was talking about was so much better than the girl going to the Empresses. Isis moved closer watching the girl, she couldn’t help the smile that came to her lips because she had feeling that this girl would be more than just guard to her, her mother was very protective of her, the only friend that she had was Ekatarina but there was something about Giulia that made her think that even though she would be her guard, she could also see her being a partner in crime, call it intuition or a feeling.

Upon hearing her mother address her, she turned her gaze from Giulia after hearing her say that she would be honored to be her guide and faced her momma. She knew the reason behind momma’s decision to do this. Her one special power kept her very vulnerable when she used it and nobody from the family except for her momma and her two Aunt’s were told what it was. She was the only one in the Tenbris family that had this power, so to have her mother assign a guard to her showed her that her momma was concerned that something could happen to her when she used it. Taking a deep breath, she let it out slowly before speaking. “ I have heard many things when it comes to the Lefay-Tepes families, let me say that they weren’t pleasant stories.” She turned back to Giulia. “ My mother is correct in saying that the Imperial Dynasties would not be a good place for you either.” She took a step closer to Giulia and held out her hand. “ It’s a pleasure to meet you Giulia, welcome.” She didn’t have any doubts of taking her as a guard, she trusted her momma always but she also trusted her feelings and she knew that this was the right thing to do.

“Momma, does she know everything?” Her gaze slid over to her mother. “Or did you want me to fill her in?” Isis would always get a little nervous when she spoke about this certain ability, she knew that if any of their enemies found out about it, they would use her if she was ever captured. So it didn’t bother her that her mother would go such lengths to keep her safe. She was still trying to learn how to control it and with Giulia protecting her, she knew that she would be safe but she also knew that Giulia would be safe and under the protection of the Tenebris and their allies. No one would dare come for Giulia because no one would dare come against the Trinity and the three families. She wasn’t sure if Giulia knew that but she would find out soon enough.

She turned her attention back to Giulia. “ I am honored that you would accept the position that the Sultana has offered you. I only ask one thing of you for now…when it is just us, please call me Isis. Titles can only be used when others are around.” She could just imagine the look on her momma’s face when she said that but she didn’t turn to look at her just yet. “ This is your home now, if you need anything, please let us know. Oh and don’t pay attention to what others might say, there are alot of people here that might get jealous of your position but let them. There are alot of…oh how should I say this and be nice….” She turned to her mother and smiled. “ Well, let me just say that there alot here that would love to have the attention of Sultana and myself and will say anything. But you need not worry about that because even if we aren’t around when they say such things, the Sultana always hears what is being said and things tend to turn out perfectly. My momma is very protective of me and I don’t blame her.” She smiled as she looked at Giulia again. “My momma has offered you sanctuary and you have it. But I want you to be sure that you want to do this. What my mother is asking of you won’t be easy and I want to hear what you have to say and hear what you are thinking, I already know that you are honored to do this but for my peace of mind, I need to hear you say it.”

She wasn’t declining her mother’s offer of a guard but she like she had told Giulia, she needed to hear her thoughts and feelings on this for her peace of mind because if something happened to her while she was using her gift, it would weigh heavily on Isis for a very long time.

Becoming a guard to a witch/princess: A rock and a hard place (Storyline with Isis)

Blog Location:https://www.realmroleplay.com/view_blog.php?id=0000000885

Disclaimer: Done in two different points of views in order for the flow of the storyline.

Giulia’s POV:

Giulia could feel the eyes of the Sultana upon her. If one did not know any better the crimson eyes that Sultana Antigone possessed mimicked the ones that a vampire had. However, it was known that the Tenebris {Aurelius Antoninus} family had connections to two gods within the old lands. Furthermore, they were not what many thought were “normal” witches and warlocks. She wanted to know more about whom she would have to guard, but did not ask any further questions sensing another Tenebris was coming. The Tenebris family had a certain smell and presence that many did not hold. The only other time that Giulia would ever sense such a presence even close was those within the other founding families (The Novikov and Anhalt), and the Empresses of the Imperial Dynasties.

However, the very presence that the Tenebris family had was something vastly different. Many may think that vampires and witches/warlocks have the same spiritual presence, but that is not exactly true. There was something unique to each species and especially so when a person within the species grows older. Meaning, an older witch/warlock or an older vampire would have a stronger spiritual presence and smell to them. Standing before one of the Tenebris sisters and surrounded by her guards, Giulia felt smaller like when she stood in front of her father. Compared to a pure-blood, Giulia was nothing more than a half-breed. The only reason she was being able to stand within the Tenebris lands was that she would become their guard or whatever they had need of. Furthermore, the fairy blood that flowed through veins helps with that fact even further. She was not safe even with her mother’s side of the family. Her mother was loving from what she remembered but after her death, her grandmother took over guardianship. Like her father, her grandmother used her for abilities but for the vampire side. So, her father and grandmother was both two people she would never want to come in contract with.

The Tenebris family had no reason to fear her father unlike she feared him. She knew that he would if ever was able to get his hands upon her once more use her to gain even more power. She saw a young woman come in that held the same presence as the Dark Ancestral Witch, herself. The young woman though slightly tanner skin looked much liked Antigone and even more so Giulia could tell that they were related. Upon hearing that young woman called Antigone “Momma”, Giulia’s eyes went towards Antigone for a moment then back down towards the ground. There had been many rumors that only one child of Antigone’s was still alive and that she was furiously protective over her. Never in a million centuries would Giulia ever think that she would come face to face with the very child.

Antigone’s POV:

Antigone with a big proud smile upon her face looked at her daughter. She walked towards her and gave her a tight hug. “Benim küçük ayım. Bu sabah nasılsın?” (My little bear. How are you this morning?) Knowing that they were among those who did not traditionally speak Turkish or Latin, Antigone switched to a common language. “My Baby Bear. This here is Giulia Lefay-Tepes. She is the daughter of Vlad Dracula and the granddaughter of Morgan LeFay.” she said bluntly. “Vampire and fae hybrid. I know you have had some powers come in.” she said plainly.

Antigone took a pause then turned her focus towards Giulia. “I believe I have a solution for the two of you.” She said with a thick Roman (Ancient Italian) accent. She looked towards her daughter then back at Giulia. “Giulia is very skilled and will be able to protect you when your abilities come about when you are more vulnerable. Furthermore, Giulia it will give you a reason to be her even more so than hiding from your father or your grandmother.” She said plainly. “How do you feel about this baby bear?” she asked her daughter. Taking a deep breath, Antigone turned to Giulia. “There is no real choice for you here. I am sorry about that, but it is either us or the Imperial Dynasties to be thrown to.” She said speaking of the vampire dynasties of Asia (mainly in China and Korea), that were known to be ruled by warrior Empresses. “If you go there than there is no telling what could happen to you.” She said knowing that the only reason that the two covens (Imperial Dynasties and Ut in Veteribus) have a contract was that both sides knew that it would be utter destruction of both due to the power level of both sides.

Giulia’s pov:

Giulia standing there in the presence of both made her feel even smaller than before. She knew that she was between a rock and a hard place. She would have no choice but to guard the young Tenebris. She looked up at Antigone for a moment then towards Isis. She gave a slight smile and bowed her head. Upon hearing the name Imperial Dynasties, Giulia gave a slight nod and bowed her head once more. “I would be most honored to be a guard to you, Sultana Isis.”

Antigone’s pov:

Antigone gave a slight smile. “What are your thoughts my child?” she asked looking towards Isis. Antigone felt for Giulia knowing that neither her father’s side nor mother’s side had anyone who wanted her other than their own gain and neither wanted to protect her. This was one way where she would be protected and perhaps gain a new family even if it was not like the old ways. However, giving her to the Imperial Dynasties was something Antigone wished not to do, though it had been centuries since she last laid eyes upon the two Empresses. It was enough they still had treaty with them.

The Price

Standing on the balcony of her room, she looked out over the kingdom and sighed softly. She always loved this view, the smell of the flower gardens below drifted to her and she inhaled slowly taking the different scents in. She watched the guards go about their business, her thoughts turned to her training, there was still alot that she had to learn but the one thing that she never expected and she knew for a fact that her mother wasn’t expecting, was that she could heal people, it’s wasn’t that she could heal them but how…she couldn’t really think about that right now because if she could be honest, it made her nervous. She knew that she couldn’t talk about that to anyone but her mother and the other families.

A noise from inside the room distracted her and she turned and walked back in, smiling as she noticed the maids straightening her room. She knew each one by their given names, one thing about Isis, she always treated everyone like they were important no matter what job they had. Each person in the kingdom was important in some way or another. As they went about their duties, she prepared herself to get ready for the day. She couldn’t help the feeling that something was coming and she didn’t know if it was good or bad but she had this feeling since she had opened her eyes. She would seek out her mother and talk to her about it today.

An hour later, she left her room with her attendants in tow, making her way through the corridors of the palace, she smiled at the sound of the children playing and followed the noise, stopping in a doorway, she watched the children sitting and listening to their teacher tell a story and couldn’t help but smile. It brought back memories of her doing that something at that age. She nodded her head and that teacher and moved on.

She was walking into the central courtyard when she noticed her mother’s guard walking her way and knew immediately that she was going to be summoned to her mother’s side and everyone knew that you didn’t leave the Sultana waiting even if she was your own mother. The guard stopped a few paces from her and before he could even say anything, she nodded her head to let him know that she already knew. She wasn’t sure why her mother wanted her but she would find out, she thought to herself as she followed Sumbul Aga.

Reaching the throne room doors, she motioned for her attendants to wait out in the corridor as the doors opened and she made her way inside. Her eyes moving to her mother first, she came forward and curtsied in front her. Any other time, she wouldn’t do that if it was just her and her momma but she did notice the other person in the room. She knew her mother would probably tease her later for it but she respected her momma’s position and title and she would never disrespect her in any way. Slowly rising to her full height, she smiled. “ You wished to see me.” Her eyes moved to the other person in the room, taking her in before looking back at her momma. “ Good morning momma.”

She knew immediately what the girl was but she kept her mouth shut, her eyes never leaving her momma as she waited for her to speak. Isis, being what she was, she could tell if people were like her and her momma or something else and this girl that stood in the throne room was definitely something else, which confused her even more because she wasn’t sure why she was here and why her mother had summoned her.
