08/21/2023  Finding my Twin Category: Uncategorized Zegnyk stood in the pouring rain outside of his twin brothers' home. It had been years since he'd seen his twin and he wasn't sure if he was welcome inside. The leopard's curiosity did get the better of him and snapped him out of his stupor and he finally knocked on the huge doors of the citadel. The loud sound of the pouring rain around him deafened his hearing, his fingers moved to his soaking wet clothes and he clung to the wet fabric tightly, as he did so he didn't hear the door open right away and a hand reached out and grabbed him. Roughly it shoved him into the large door frame and he felt hands frisking him. He froze in shock as he was frisked down by the door guards. They wore helmets and Zegnyk couldn't see their faces, his body spun around forcefully and he felt the hands frisk up his back. His hands could only lift to the sides of his body and his fingers splayed out to just let them check him for weapons. Zegnyk knew this was the way of things, especially approaching the alpha's home in such a way but he didn't know any other way to contact his twin. One of the men stopped and spoke, "He's clean." And then the other guy spoke, "What is your business here!?" He grabbed Zegnyk by his collar and spun him around and spoke right into his face. Zegnyk went limp, his eyes dropped. Maybe this was a bad idea but he said softly, "I want to see the alpha." The guard blurted out. "WHAT!" Zegnyk cringed at the loud sharp answer but he gulped and spoke up so they could hear him above the loud sound of the monsoon rain. "I WANT TO SEE THE ALPHA!" The guard laughed, "Oh?" The other guard nudged him in the back, "He's probably a late-night booty call." Both guards laughed and then dragged Zegnyk inside. They were rough as they moved him down through all the dark curving hallways of the confusing maze of the citadel. Zegnyk did look around as they passed by rooms and dark halls, Zegnyk did remember this place when he was a little boy and when he visited their grandfather who used to own it. He couldn't remember everything, only bits and pieces. The smells alone of this place were overwhelming to his senses. His brain hurt as he was flooded with flashes of memories of being here and remembering everything from when they were little together. ---Flashback--- "Ashwinn! Ashwinn!" The sound of children giggling as light footsteps ran up and down the halls. Zegnyk ran around and looked in each room, one after another. "I found you!" A light voice of a child squeaked as he pounced on his hiding brother. They both burst into laughter as their game of hide-and-seek played out. He remembered hearing Ashwinn, "My Turn!" Ashwinn covered his eyes and started to count. Zegnyk gasped in excitement and ran off laughing as he was hearing. "1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7, 8, 9, 10 HERE I COME!!" ---End of Flashback--- Lost in his memories he stopped paying attention to where the guards took him. Before he knew it he was pushed into a room and the door slammed behind him. It was pitch black in the room and his hand reached out to a wall to flick on the light switch. His sensitive eyes squinted into the light as it flooded the room. It was too much light, so he turned it off quickly and stumbled over to a lamp he saw in a corner. He sighed as he saw the lamp was by a stained and disgusting bed. His nose turned up and he didn't want to sleep there tonight. Looking around the room to see what else was there. 	ZegNyk Suttikul [LOZ]	When he went into the bathroom and turned on the light he noticed the bugs scurrying away. His mind was instantly wanting to flee from this place. Questioning why he was here? This is starting to feel like a bad idea. Whatever his brother was into now that he was an alpha king was something he wasn't into. Zegnyk was a loner, he liked to wander from one place to another and only owned the clothes on his back. Plus being an omega male in the seua saming culture was dangerous. Zegnyk didn't take any drugs to dull his pheromone scents from the alphas in the citadel, he was in so much danger being here. Looking around the bathroom he saw there was a small shower in the corner. Even if this place was disgusting, it would be so nice to be clean. If Ashwinn didn't come here to see him, then he was going to make a run for it as soon as the rainstorm outside stopped. Slowly he started to take all his clothes off and set them on the sink in a wet heap. Stepping over to the shower he turned it on and let the water run for a little bit before he stepped in. There was a little bit of soap left and he cleaned off all the dirt and grime on his body and cleaned his hair and face. Then he rinsed himself off with the water jets. Turning off the water he stepped out and he found a towel in a cabinet. He shook it off first before he dried himself and tied it around his waist. He then hung up his wet clothes in the shower so hopefully they would be dry enough for when he decided to make a run for it. Walking back out into the main bedroom he heard a voice in his room. The chills and panic that just rushed through his system caused his eyes to widen in fear as he looked at the sound of the voice. Who knew his name? He never gave a name to the guards. If it was Ashwinn then he knew he was dead. He put himself in such a stupid situation. Frozen in fear he looked at the person staring back at him. Seeing the face looking back at him he knew it wasn't Ashwinn. Ash was his twin and it wasn't like looking in a mirror. Suddenly it dawned on him who it was. "Xharuz?" Oh my god, it was Xharuz! His brother Xharuz was 10 years old when he saw him last. "You grew up! Wow... wow. I..." He fell speechless and he had no idea that Xharuz was still alive. Slowly he walked forward with his arms open to his little brother. His eyes started to tear up at the sight of his family member. "I thought Yaza and you died in the war." 	The Omega King |Xharuz Suttikul| +LOZ+	Xharuz had a lot of meetings for the day all scheduled out. He was the Omega King so he had responsibilities to all the omegas in the leopard clan. Sitting in the meeting room at the head of the table he met up with each of the omegas one by one. It took longer, but Xharuz wanted to get to know everyone, see every face, and learn about anything that would be troubling an omega. So many things could be brought up here in this space with his fellow omegas and Xharuz made each one of them feel safe to talk about things. Sometimes it was as small as helping them get through their first heat, or something more serious like dealing with an abusive alpha. It was something Xharuz wished to eliminate from existence, but they did have a way of dealing with aggressive alphas. The last meeting was with a young omega that was pregnant and Xharuz gave the omega tips and lessons about dealing with a pregnancy. Xharuz has been pregnant enough himself that he was now a pro on how to handle a pregnancy. He gave out numbers to the best physicians in the area who would be good midwives, he recommended the best herbs for soothing stress and pains. After the meeting, he opened his laptop and took down notes on the meeting. He also put in follow up questions he would like to ask the omega the next time they met so he'd remember where to two of them left off in the conversation. He pushed up his glasses on his long nose as he stopped in between typing and thought of something else to type, then his fingers wiggled and he went back to typing. Hearing the door to the room open his head lifted up from the screen and he pulled his reading glasses off to look at the beta who walked into the room. It was one of the guards to the citadel and he bowed to Xharuz. Xharuz bowed his head and then gestured for him to speak. "What can I help you with?" The guard looked up and nodded. "Sorry to interrupt your schedule today sir but the guards brought in an omega off the streets, he looked homeless but he was asking for Ashwinn. We figured since he does smell like an omega then we would bring him up to you before telling the Alpha King about him." Xharuz knew his alpha Ashwinn was a whore and slept around with anything and everything. So really it wasn't a shock to him that some homeless omega would wander into the citadel begging to see Ash. Ashwinn's business was his own and Xharuz had no control over him. Ashwinn was also his brother and he knew Ash had a history of disappearing off to breed with creatures that weren't leopards so there was also the possibility that this omega was a bastard child and he was looking for answers. Before throwing this omega to the alpha and hoping for the best, he decided with a clearing of his throat and told the guard, "Hmm.. so please bring him in. I would like to meet him first before letting the Alpha King see him. Thank you for letting me know." The guard nodded, bowed then spoke, "I would bring him up but..." Xharuz tilted his head, "But?" The guard looked concerned and then whispered, "I think he's a Suttikul. He looks just like Ashwinn." Xharuz's eyes popped open wide with surprise and he stood up from the table. "You mean?!" The guard nodded, "I believe... he's your brother." Xharuz was suddenly flustered and he set everything aside. He knew this was completely different now. If this was Zegnyk, then Ashwinn couldn't know at all about it. Xharuz had no idea what Ashwinn would do if he saw Zegnyk again. Xharuz headed for the door. "Take me to him. I must see him!" Quickly he was brought down to the lower levels of the citadel. Down here it was disgusting and unkept, this place was crazy old and parts of the citadel were falling to ruin. Xharuz was used to it and knew exactly what to expect. Though in the back of his mind, they could have brought Zegnyk up to the upper levels. They led him to the doors of the chambers and Xharuz just pushed his way in. He snapped the door shut behind him, he didn't want anyone to listen to this conversation. The guards were notoriously snoopy. Looking around the small room, he turned on the lights and called out. "Zegnyk?"
